Sand blasting

The processing of the surface of the glass by sandblasting, is long-established. Intricate decorative stencils are applied to the crystal, then the surface is removed with the sand-jet under high pressure. This too requires a great deal of experience and application to achieve a well-balanced result. After removing the decorative template the pattern is revealed in all its glory.
